You need to be at every practice, ready and on time! 
We will have class every day @ 7:00 AM through basketball season. BE ON TIME!!!!

WASH YOUR UNIFORMS!!! With our unfiroms being white you need to wash them every time you wear them. PLEASE, use the Fels Naptha bar of soap on your stains...IT WORKS!!!! I promise!!! Just rub some of the bar on your stain let sit for a few minutes wash!!! But wash those uniforms.

Remember to make your California payments to the office. We are only 6 weeks away! YAY!

I just can't believe how time is flying!

This week we have Tuesday Class @ 7:00AM

We have work to do to be ready for next Wednesdays, November 30th, Competition Evaluation with UCA.

Next Tuesday we will have class @ 6:30 AM 

PLEASE make sure you take care of yourselves over break. Be prepared to work hard next week so we can get a great evaluation and represent well.

REMINDER

We will bus from Orem leaving 
NOVEMBER 30th NEXT WEDNESDAY @ 5:45pm to Corner Canyon for our Evaluation.
This is our ONLY opportunity to have judges look at our routine to be ready for California.

Moving right along...

Thanks for all the help this weekend with Sadie's. WE have awesome parents! The kids who attended have been raving about the how great it was. It was a great night!

WE have amazing girls who are full of good! Especially, in the upcoming season, keep looking for ways to spread good in our community.
Next Monday is Orem Citys "Light the City" event @ 6. Our mascot Brutus will be there. Go show support, bring your families, enjoy hot chocolate, and celebrate with the city, coming together after a very heartbreaking event.

Sadie's Weekend

Its been a great week! You girls are working hard on getting those stunts solid for comp!

We have Sadie's Dance this Saturday. I have parents helping. I will send you a message to touch base with you, but parents plan on being at Orem by 8:00-11:00. If you are helping with taking money at the door. I will need you there at 7:45 to count the till.

LADIES SET UP FOR SADIE'S IS 7AM SHARP! EVERY SECOND IS NEEDED. We have girls who have meetings, so we need to move quick, and efficient. SO DON'T BE LATE.

If you have a Fugi film Polaroid, please bring it. We have 3, but it would be nice to have at least 4.

Final California Balances have been added to your cheer accounts. You will be mailed home 2 statements this weekend. First payments are due NOVEMBER 21! YOu can pay your balances off in payments or in full. YOU MUST pay your balances off JANUARY 11th, before the trip!!!! NO excuses. If you have any questions about your balance. Email me or text me.

We do have once more opportunity. To earn credit towards your California Trip Balance. Selling ads for the winter program. I will send home the forms with your statements. Money for the ADs will be due DECEMBER 4th.

CALIFORNIA HERE WE COME!

We got the official thumbs up from the district for our competition and trip to California.

SO with that being typed..... We are down to a little less than 3 months!

I will be sending and mailing  home, by Friday, payments that are due with a payment schedule and credits from fundraising.

It will included the breakdown of costs.

Flying out Thursday Morning and Flying home Monday afternoon.

We will be competing at the West Coast Championship.

NEXT

We have the opportunity to have our competition routine looked at and evaluated by UCA with 7 other high schools on NOVEMBER 30th! We will bus up to Corner Canyon and perform our routine for evaluation judges to let us know what we can improve on, that everything illegal, or areas we could increase difficulty.

We will talk more as a team about this. BUT PLEASE GIRLS MARK YOUR CALENDARS FOR NOVEMBER 30th! We need all of you!!!!!

Football Volleyball & Sadies

We have a couple things this week:)

We have the last home Volleyball game this Thursday vs Timpview. It will be their Senior Night. We will attend the game. We also made it into the state football playoffs with the win last night.

(PS--I missed you guys last night!)

Fall Season Is Here!

We have officially arrived into full swing. Great work pulling together our halftime and continuing to cheer to the very end of a VERY long Saturday afternoon game. You girlz made me So proud!

A reminder to take care of yourselves as stress in our busy lives increase, our immune systems drop. As you learned this week, when we have people sick, not feeling good, or missing it effects the whole team. Remember we are a team and we want to succeed and we need everyone! THURSDAY! We don't have a football game this week BUT on THURSDAY we will  be going to the Tennis match and Girls soccer game as a team. We will meet at the tennis courts first @ 3:00 wear BLUE Uniforms. We will then head over to soccer together.

You will receive the mini cheer fliers this week. Please get the word out and get future cheerleaders to your clinic. The money you raise in this clinic will go to your deposit on your plane tickets and hotel rooms.

Parents, I am submitting the district paper work this week for our California Trip January 26-30, for the West Coast Championship. We will then wait for final approval. If any parents or families are interested in going with us, please let me know. I will be putting a deposit on our plane and hotel rooms and I need a final count. We will be flying ether Jet Blue or Southwest, flights time are very similar. We will be staying at the Clarion Hotel right by the Anaheim Convention Center and 1.5 blocks from Disneyland. You can also purchase Disney tickets with us but the 2017 prices have not yet been released. Just let me know if you would like to go and I will get you the needed details.

We are also looking for sponsors for our mini cheer clinic, to cover the cost of t-shirts. Sponsors Logo goes on the t-shirt and will be announced at the game as our sponsor. I will send home the papers for that on Tuesday.

We are looking great! Commit to your goals you set in June and lets get after them!

Also our Mini Cheer Clinic is set!!!! September 20-22 from 3:30-5:30, cheering and performing at the Thursday JV football vs Timpview game.  $25 a participant. I will need 2-3 moms to help with money on the 20th from 3:30-4:30. More details will come next week as well as flyers but get the word out!!! There is no reason  this clinic can't be successful!!

Our blanket, chair and sign orders will be ready to deliver for the next home game on September 16! We ordered a few extra of each item, so if someone missed out they can still order:) I will be letting you know how much each girl will be credited to their fees. You will just need to let me know if you would like them done to their school fees or the trip.

Last Week of Summer!

Well girls! WE are extremely proud of you and what we were able to accomplish in this last week. I feel as long as we stay focused as a team and work hard, you will represent and set an even higher standard for Orem High Cheer!

We have approached our last summer practices and still so much to be done! WE need your best efforts while we are together to be ready to roll on Friyay!

If you missed choreography it is YOUR responsibility to get it learned, outside of team practices. We need to spend the Time working formations and cleaning, not teaching unlearned material.

We have the awesome opportunity to have Mallory Madsen choreograph a fantastic POM routine for us! A great way to get our dance and motions top notch! Her time is valuable and are excited to have her. So bring $10 cash or check on Tuesday so we can pay Mallory. 

If you miss any practices, it will be up to YOU, to learn them outside of cheer practice. We can not take the time during practice to catch people up.

Great first week of summer! We are thrilled with how quickly our new squad is gelling and picking up new material!

We are also thrilled with everything that is ahead of the team! So many fun, great, and awesome opportunities!

We have learned 2 new sideline dances and will be learning 3 more this week.

Thursday we will be handing out your first online orders and your school owned blue uniform YAYYYYYY!

The Mayor has asked for us to help with Summerfest! 

They need 5-10 girls to hand out balloons at the city park on Thursday. You will wear your new blue uniform. Please text me if you would like to help this night:)

Saturday they need our squad to help at the Summerfest baby contest! 12-3:30

It is at Orem High in the commons. You will wear your uniform:):)

Then we have the parade that night at 6:00pm. In uniform:)

Camp is Mandatory!!!! We are learning and builiding as a team and even if one girl Is gone it effects everyone!!!!

The captains and your coaches have some great plans for camp and are SO EXCITED!!!!

Our California competition date has been set! The parent vote was in favor of competing in California. I am working on the district paperwork, to get it approved by our administration and district board in September. BUT MARK JANUARY 26-30 2017 on your calender so there will be no conflict! The competition we will be competing at is the UCA West Coast Championship and it is held on Saturday at the Anahiem Convention Center.

We will have a parent meeting in August to go over Competition details! We are jumping for joy about it! 

The girls will be coming home with thier summer fundraisers the last week of June! People are extremely excited about it!!! Spirit stadium chairs, spirit sweatshirt blankets and spirit yard signs:):):):)

We also will be selling ads and banners and that info will come home with them as well! 

We know this is a lot of info! Trust me WE KNOW!!! But great things are ahead and nothing great comes without work and effort!!!!

We love you all and are so grateful to be working with the best!!!!

Cheer schedule for the next 2 weeks!!!

We know it's lots of hours and practice but it's 2 weeks! Then we compete one time and hope to make it to state.

Monday-Friday 6:30 AM •BE ON TIME! The next two weeks you can wear appropriate cheer clothing but it will not be assigned be ready to work, work, work! 

After school practices will be determined by Skylar. It will be to polish up on the dance. 

Please show your best respect the next few weeks to our team and  be all in this together! (Hopefully the tune from high school musical just ran through your head;)

Your were told a week before break that we need everyone 100% and mandatory for the next 2 weeks!!!!!

So be prepared mentally and physically!
